We are recruiting for the position of Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established independent garage located in Milton Keynes. This Vehicle Technician role presents a chance to work with a high-end manufacturer, specialising in servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs. As a Vehicle Technician, the successful Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service standard and operational excellence.

Benefits:
  • Basic salary up to £45,760 (equivalent to up to £22 per hour)
  • Overtime paid at double rate (£44 per hour) in 15-minute increments
  • Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours per week)

Duties:
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including high-end models
  • Carry out servicing, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs to the highest standards
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle work and communicate effectively with customers
  • Assist in diagnosing complex vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed
  • Ensure workshop safety standards are consistently met
  • Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on customer satisfaction and technical excellence
Requirements:
  • Recognised qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or an equivalent certification
  • Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician, ideally with high-end or German marques
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Proactive, positive attitude, and excellent team working skills
  • Willingness to stay current with industry innovations and advancements
  • Passion for delivering a premium customer experience
  • Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment and meet deadlines
