We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician to join their well-established workshop in Sidcup. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Vehicle Technicians seeking a reputable dealership environment, offering varied workload and career development opportunities.

Benefits: 
  • Competitive salary ranging from £36,000 to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Over time available at time and half, with optional Saturday overtime
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Servicing and maintaining a variety of prestige and other vehicles to high standards
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, including clutches, timing chains, and suspension components
  • Conducting PDI and sales preparation to ensure vehicles meet retail standards
  • Performing general mechanical repairs in accordance with OEM guidelines
  • Working independently to complete allocated jobs efficiently and safely
  • Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards
  • Providing excellent customer service through high standards of workmanship
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician with approximately three to five years' post-apprenticeship experience
  • Proven experience in servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on prestige vehicles
  • Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong diagnostic skills and effective problem-solving abilities
  • Full UK driving licence
