Our client, a leading Used Car Supermarket in Derbyshire, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their expanding workshop team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled vehicle technician to work within a modern and fully equipped facility, delivering first-class service and repairs.   • Basic salary of £35,000 – £45,000, depending on qualifications and experience

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, and comprehensive vehicle health checks
  • Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Complete mechanical repairs across a wide range of makes and models
  • Prepare used vehicles to a high retail standard
  • Carry out MOT testing where qualified
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards
  • Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain workshop productivity and quality
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
