We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable dealership in Chelmsford, Essex, for the position of Vehicle Technician. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct routine servicing and repairs across a wide range of vehicle makes and models
  • Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
  • Ensure all work adheres to manufacturer standards and specifications
  • Maintain detailed and accurate service and repair records
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle status and repairs
  • Uphold health and safety standards within the workshop environment
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or similar qualification
  • Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge
  • Ability to work efficiently independently and within a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Customer-focused approach with good communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
