We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable, family-run franchised dealership in Northumberland. This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals or those progressing from apprenticeships who are eager to develop their career within a well-established dealership. The Vehicle Technician will be integral to delivering high standards of vehicle servicing and repair, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

Benefits: 
  • Basic salary of up to £38,500
  • On-target earnings around £43,900
  • No weekend work – Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
  • Optional overtime to increase earnings

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Repair and service vehicles according to manufacturer standards
  • Conduct diagnostic checks to identify faults
  • Inspect vehicles for wear, tear, and general faults
  • Complete work in accordance with DVSA regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication
  • Carry out all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair as required
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (desirable)
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Own set of tools
  • Full UK driving license
  • MOT license (desirable but not essential)
