We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician to join a reputable dealership in Yeovil. The successful individual will play a key role within a busy workshop environment, providing high-quality vehicle repairs and servicing. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicles according to manufacturer and industry standards
  • Conducting scheduled maintenance and repairs efficiently
  • Utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults accurately
  • Ensuring all work is completed within specified timeframes and to a high standard
  • Maintaining detailed records of work carried out
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures and workshop policies
  • Supporting team members and sharing technical knowledge
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a strong technical background
  • Relevant technical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance
  • Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
