We are pleased to present an exceptional opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join a reputable, family-run independent service centre in Uttoxeter. The Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in delivering high standards of vehicle maintenance and repair in a supportive and professional environment. This role offers a chance to work with a diverse range of vehicles and develop your skills within a well-established business.

  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8am to 5:30pm, with no weekend work

  • Exposure to diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on a wide range of vehicles, including hybrid and electric models
Duties:
  • Conduct vehicle servicing and repairs to high standards
  • Perform diagnostics using advanced equipment on a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Carry out vehicle inspections, including MOT testing (if qualified)
  • Maintain accurate work records and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and technical advice to clients
  • Assist with general maintenance and electrical diagnostics as required
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician or equivalent
  • Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles is preferred
  • MOT tester qualification is advantageous
  • Strong diagnostic skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
