We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a leading main dealer in Birkenhead. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform vehicle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics to the highest standards
  • Utilise your technical expertise to identify faults and resolve issues efficiently
  • Work on electrical and mechanical systems, including testing and fault diagnosis
  • Replace and repair components as required to ensure vehicle safety and performance
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and advise on further work
  • Support colleagues within the workshop to achieve team targets
  • Maintain detailed records of work completed
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or an equivalent qualification
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Experience working with electrical and mechanical systems
  • Proficiency in using modern diagnostic equipment 
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and fault finding techniques
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers
  • MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
