We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a well-established in-house automotive workshop located in Canning Town, London. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to advance their career within a reputable, friendly team dedicated to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Competitive basic salary up to £41,000, depending on experience
  • No weekend work; Monday to Friday hours from 8.00am to 5.30pm
  • Optional Saturday overtime paid at time and a quarter
  • Monthly bonus scheme of up to approximately £3,000 after six months

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct routine vehicle servicing and repairs to high standards
  • Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently
  • Execute work on brakes, clutches, timing belts, suspension, turbos, and gearboxes
  • Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
  • Complete vehicle reports and relevant documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent technical advice and customer service
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within the motor trade
  • Relevant technical qualifications
  • Strong diagnostic skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and safety standards
