We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician role in Nottingham. This opportunity is ideal for experienced motor trade professionals seeking stability, career development, and competitive earning potential within a reputable dealership. The successful Service Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, repairs, and maintenance to a diverse range of vehicles, ensuring all work complies with manufacturer standards.

Benefits of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Basic salary of £38,000 with the potential to earn up to £41,000 OTE
  • Permanent, full-time employment in a well-established dealership

  • Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, with every other Saturday, 8:30am–12:30pm

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle servicing, routine maintenance, and inspections
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults accurately
  • Complete scheduled repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Identify additional work requirements through comprehensive vehicle inspections
  • Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and organisation
  • Ensure high standards of quality and efficiency in all tasks
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 qualification in vehicle repair and maintenance
  • Proven experience in a dealership or busy workshop setting
  • Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
