Our client, a reputable automotive dealership in Ballymena, County Antrim, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for experienced technicians looking for stability and career progression within a thriving dealership environment.

Benefits:
  • Basic salary of up to £35,000, dependent on experience
  • Monday to Friday working hours with no weekend shifts
  • Standard working hours of approximately 8:00am–5:00pm, including a 30-minute morning break and a 30-minute lunch
  • 28 days’ holiday including bank holidays

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Repair and service vehicles to a high standard
  • Conduct diagnostic checks to identify vehicle issues accurately
  • Inspect vehicles for signs of wear, tear, and general faults 
  • Complete work in accordance with DVSA standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
  • Record and document work carried out for each vehicle
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and comply with health and safety regulations
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 qualification in vehicle repair or equivalent recognised qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own set of tools required for vehicle repair and servicing
  • Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a dealership environment
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
