We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy dealership in Derby. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Servicing and maintaining a wide range of vehicle makes and models
  • Conducting repairs, including cam belt and clutch replacements
  • Carrying out diagnostics and fault rectification to high standards
  • Ensuring vehicles meet safety and quality standards before handover
  • Using workshop systems and equipment accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation for all repairs and maintenance work
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through professional communication and service
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification or equivalent
  • Experience performing cam belt and clutch replacements as a Vehicle Technician
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills
  • Previous experience working within a workshop environment
  • Ability to work efficiently to productivity targets while maintaining quality
  • Passionate about the automotive industry and committed to delivering excellent customer service
