We are currently seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable automotive dealership located in New Southgate. Our client is eager to recruit a candidate with proven main dealer experience and a specialised focus on electric and hybrid vehicle technology. This Vehicle Technician role offers an excellent opportunity for career development within a forward-thinking environment.

  • Basic salary of £34,995, with an uncapped OTE of over £50,000
  • Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm working hours
  • Alternating Saturdays, 8.30am – 12.30pm, paid at time and a half for overtime

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conducting service, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles, focusing on electric and hybrid models
  • Diagnosing vehicle issues accurately using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to high standards of quality
  • Maintaining accurate repair and service records
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and dealership policies
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a main dealer Vehicle Technician
  • Valid accreditation in EV and hybrid technology
  • Strong diagnostic skills and comprehensive technical knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicles
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
