We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician at their franchised dealership located in Bellbrook Industrial Estate, Bell Lane, Uckfield, East Sussex. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • General maintenance and servicing of motor vehicles
  • Diagnosing faults and conducting repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Vehicle inspections and diagnostic testing
  • Ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborating with colleagues and supervisors on complex issues
  • Conducting MOT testing (full training provided if necessary)
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of work carried out
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as an automotive Technician
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach to work
  • Good working relations with team members
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • MOT testing qualification is desirable but not essential; full training available for enthusiastic individuals
  • Reliable and conscientious with a professional attitude
