We are currently seeking a Vehicle Technician to join a reputable independent specialist garage located in Macclesfield, Cheshire. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles
  • Carry out servicing, including scheduled maintenance, oil changes, and tyre fitting
  • Perform fault diagnosis and rectify mechanical and electrical issues
  • Complete detailed and accurate repair documentation in line with manufacturer standards
  • Ensure all work is completed within recommended timeframes and to the highest quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets and customer satisfaction goals
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a professional workshop
  • Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
  • Full UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
