Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across all makes and models
  • Complete servicing and mechanical repairs accurately and efficiently
  • Keep records of work performed to high standards
  • Work collaboratively within a busy dealership environment
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality work
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a fast-paced dealership or workshop
  • Strong understanding of all vehicle makes and models
  • Relevant automotive qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds)
  • Time service qualifications are advantageous
  • Demonstrable ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently
  • Ability to work under pressure with a high level of accuracy
  • Flexible availability, including working across 7 days per week
  • Valid work eligibility (sponsorship available for qualified technicians)
  • Willingness to participate in overtime
Nice to Have Skills:
  • 10 years’ experience or more in the motor trade
  • Automotive technician qualifications such as Master Technician status
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Significant hands-on experience within a dealership environment
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs
Other Requirements:
  • Flexible working hours, including willingness to work across seven days 
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
