Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out servicing and routine maintenance across a diverse range of vehicles
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
  • Complete warranty and repair work to high standards
  • Perform electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs)
  • Conduct cambelt replacements, oil changes, and general mechanical repairs
  • Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and safety regulations
  • Accurately complete digital job cards and write-ups
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure optimal productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Experience in servicing, warranty, and repair tasks
  • A full UK driving licence
  • An MOT licence is advantageous but can be obtained through training
  • Attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
