We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable independent garage in Warrington, for a Vehicle Technician position. This opportunity is ideal for skilled and experienced motor trade professionals seeking a well-supported working environment with clear career progression. Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Basic salary of £36,000 to £38,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am to 5:00pm – no weekends

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Servicing vehicles, including checks and routine maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
  • Replacing and repairing injectors, seals, and other mechanical parts
  • Producing accurate time estimates for repair jobs
  • Conducting safety inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy
  • Writing detailed service reports on completed work
  • Reporting to the Workshop Manager and supporting team operations
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through quality repairs and transparent communication
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • UK Right to Work documentation
  • Own comprehensive set of tools
  • MOT licence would be advantageous but is not essential
