We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in Treforest, Rhondda Cynon Taf, for the position of Vehicle Technician. Duties:
  • Conduct fault diagnosis and perform engine-based repairs
  • Complete routine servicing and repairs as required
  • Accurately identify faults and communicate findings to the Workshop Controller
  • Ensure all work complies with quality standards, health & safety regulations, and manufacturer procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services
  • Contribute to the efficiency and productivity of the Service Department
  • Support team members and uphold the dealership's high standards of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • At least 3+ years practical post-qualification experience preferred
  • Ideally qualified to Diagnostic or Master Technician level
  • Current UK driving licence
  • Active MOT licence advantageous
  • Strong team player with commitment to high-quality work
  • Capable of working efficiently in a busy environment and meeting targets
  • Willingness to undertake manufacturer-approved training
