We are seeking a skilled and experienced vehicle technician to join a well-established franchise dealership in Sunderland. The vehicle technician will play a key role in delivering high-quality repair and maintenance services to customers, ensuring vehicles are serviced to the highest standards.

  • Basic salary up to approximately £38,000, tailored to experience, with potential earnings (OTE) of up to approximately £52,480

Duties:
  • Carry out vehicle repairs, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently and accurately
  • Provide clear, concise reports on repair work and communicate effectively with customers regarding maintenance and repairs
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet targets and deliver high customer satisfaction
  • Ensure all work is completed to the dealership’s high standards, adhering to manufacturer guidelines
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified automotive technician, with Level 3 NVQ or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a dealership environment is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • MOT licence is desirable but not essential
  • Passion for automotive repair and a proactive approach to ongoing learning
