Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic tools
  • Inspect components for wear and potential issues
  • Replace defective parts accurately and efficiently
  • Conduct comprehensive checks on vehicle subsystems
  • Support colleagues in achieving workshop targets and high-quality service standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT licence preferred but not essential
  • Proven experience working in a main dealership or similar environment
  • Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with modern testing equipment
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team and maintain high standards
  • Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service and technical quality
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
