Vehicle Technician in Dudley

We are recruiting a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable main dealer located in Dudley. The Vehicle Technician role offers an excellent opportunity to join a well-established dealer group with the potential to earn up to £40,000 including bonus, subject to experience and qualifications.

Benefits include:
  • Basic salary up to £35,000, with the potential for higher for senior technicians
  • Bonus earnings, with an OTE of over £40,000
  • Working hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Saturday mornings on a rota (1 in 4), paid as overtime

Duties of the Vehicle Technician role include:
  • Performing servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
  • Conducting diagnostic testing to identify faults
  • Completing all paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Attending manufacturer training courses to enhance technical skills
  • Maintaining high standards of work and customer satisfaction
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency of the workshop
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician role:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent, or relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ workshop experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Authorisation to work in the UK
  • Previous main dealer experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to work efficiently and pride in delivering quality workmanship
