Location: Salisbury
Salary: £36,000 basic | OTE up to £40,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm (42.5 hours per week) + Saturday mornings on a rota.

The Role
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician to join a busy, successful dealership in Salisbury. You'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
- Complete inspections, testing and quality checks.
- Perform complex repairs, including engine, transmission and electrical work.
- Use the latest diagnostic equipment and software.
- Complete all documentation accurately, including warranty paperwork.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
Experience needed for the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician:
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years' experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician
- Previous main dealer or automotive retailer experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
