Owned and run by vets Greg and Kate, who still work hands-on in the practice every day, this is the kind of hospital where ideas are listened to, people help each other out, and nobody gets left behind. The team works hard, laughs along the way, and creates the sort of environment many nurses hope exists but rarely find.

They are looking for a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV or equivalent) to join their growing team. Whether you love surgical nursing, hospital nursing, medical cases or a bit of everything, there’s plenty of opportunity to shape the role around your interests.

What your days involve:

• Monitoring anaesthetics and assisting in surgery.
• Running in-house lab work and blood collection.
• Radiography, ultrasound and endoscopy support.
• Inpatient care, critical care and treatments.
• Client communication and patient discharges.
• Working alongside experienced vets, nurses and support staff.
• The occasional exotic, wildlife or referral-level case.

This is not a quiet clinic. With 11 vets, a large nursing team, advanced surgical procedures performed daily, and referrals coming from surrounding areas, the caseload is busy, varied, and genuinely rewarding.

What’s on offer:

• $32–$35 per hour depending on experience.
• Extra earnings through after-hours and on-call roster.
