Visiting Officer - Tenancy Sign-Ups in Leatherhead

4Recruitment Services are seeking a proactive and organised Visiting Officer to support tenancy sign-ups and home moves across Surrey and Sussex.

Working on behalf of a well-established housing provider, you will play an important role in ensuring properties are ready for new residents and that the lettings process runs smoothly and efficiently.

This is a field-based position requiring travel across the region five days per week.

The successful candidate will be confident conducting property visits, carrying out pre-void inspections, managing viewings and completing tenancy documentation accurately.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Carry out pre-void inspections on behalf of the Home Moves team across the South East.
• Conduct property viewings for prospective residents.
• Complete tenancy sign-ups, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with relevant procedures.
• Prepare and complete tenancy sign-up packs and core forms.
• Carry out Right to Rent checks in line with relevant requirements.
• Complete tenancy agreements and ensure all necessary paperwork is signed and processed correctly.
• Provide a professional and customer-focused service to prospective and incoming residents.
• Liaise with internal teams to support an efficient lettings and home moves process.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all required procedures are followed.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• Have experience within social housing, lettings, property management or a similar housing-related environment.
• Be confident completing tenancy documentation, including sign-up packs, core forms and tenancy agreements.
• Have an understanding of Right to Rent checks and the importance of accurate documentation.
• Be confident working independently and travelling throughout Surrey and Sussex five days per week
• Car driver with access to a car with valid business insurance
• Be professional, approachable and committed to delivering a positive customer experience.
