Full-Time | 12-Month | £13.86 per hour + 22% Shift Allowance

We are looking for 7 Visual Inspectors to join a busy manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with excellent attention to detail who can remain focused while carrying out repetitive quality inspection tasks.

As a Visual Inspector, you will be responsible for manually inspecting pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet strict quality standards before progressing through the manufacturing process. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, consistency, and concentration are essential.



Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday

  • 07:00 - 15:00
  • 15:00 - 23:00

37.5 hours per week



Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct manual visual inspections of filled vials under controlled conditions.
  • Identify and remove defective products, including:
    • Visible particles or contamination
    • Scratches, cracks, chips, and other cosmetic defects
    • Fill volume issues
    • Container closure defects
  • Accurately separate accepted and rejected products.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality inspection processes.
  • Complete inspection records and documentation accurately.
  • Report any abnormalities or quality concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, GDP, and data integrity requirements.
  • Participate in visual assessments, training, and ongoing qualification activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the team.


Essential Requirements

  • GCSE-level Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Good visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses).
  • Ability to maintain high levels of concentration for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and work instructions.
  • Reliable and self-motivated approach to work.


Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, medical device, or other regulated production environment.
  • Understanding of GMP, GDP, or quality standards.
