Steve is a friendly, sociable gentleman in his early 60s, living at home with his wife. Steve experienced a traumatic brain injury. This is an opportunity to become part of a small specialist team providing waking night support that helps him remain safe, comfortable and as independent as possible. While there is also an emergency sleep-in carer, you'll work predominantly independently overnight, with planned 2:1 support at the beginning and end of each shift for safe handovers and the morning/evening routine.
We're looking for an experienced female Support Worker who is confident working independently, has experience supporting people with traumatic brain injury or complex neurological conditions, waking night experience and values consistent, person-centred support. If you enjoy working closely under the guidance of a multidisciplinary team and delivering high-quality specialist support, we'd love to hear from you.
