Nights: 4-on-4-off
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation based in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and organised individual looking for long-term work with the potential of a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing warehouse administration tasks accurately and efficiently
- Updating and maintaining stock and inventory records
- Booking goods in and out using warehouse management systems
- Preparing and processing shipping and delivery documentation
- Handling data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with warehouse operatives, transport teams and customers
- Supporting stock control and inventory activities
- Assisting with general administrative duties as required
- Maintaining a professional and organised working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse administration role
- Strong data entry and IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to support operational requirements when needed
