Loom Talent are recruiting for a Warehouse & Distribution Specialist - White Glove on behalf of our client, a specialist business operating within the luxury home delivery sector.
This is a hands-on and varied role, combining warehouse operations, delivery and customer service. You will work as part of a small warehouse team, while also representing the business directly in customers' homes across London.
The successful candidate will take pride in delivering a professional, high-quality service, ensuring products are handled, transported and installed with the utmost care.
The Role of Warehouse & Distribution Specialist:
Safely handling, moving, storing and inspecting high-value goods within the warehouse.
Preparing orders accurately for delivery
Delivering and installing products at customers' homes, providing a professional white-glove service.
Representing the business positively when interacting with high-end customers.
Maintaining accurate inventory records and assist with stock checks.
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health and safety procedures.
Carrying out routine vehicle checks and ensuring delivery equipment is maintained and fit for use.
Working closely with the team to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
About You
We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and customer-focused, with a strong attention to detail and pride in their work.
Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, delivery or a similar hands-on environment.
A full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
Confidence driving within Central London and surrounding areas.
A professional and personable approach when dealing with customers.
The physical capability to safely lift and handle heavy or bulky items.
Basic computer skills and the ability to use inventory or warehouse management systems.
Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail.
The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a small team.
Experience using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or cherry pickers would be advantageous.
