We are currently recruiting Ad Hoc Warehouse Assistants to support operations at Transit House, Glasgow Prestwick Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work, with shifts offered based on operational requirements and flight schedules.

Transit House, Glasgow Prestwick Airport, KA9 2PL

• £12.71 per hour (paid breaks)

• Monday to Sunday
• Ad hoc shifts available based on business needs
• Flexibility is essential as shift availability can vary week to week

• Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Late Shift: 4:00pm - Midnight

Please Note: Due to the nature of airport cargo operations, shifts may be added, amended, or cancelled at short notice in line with flight schedules and operational demands. Candidates must be available to work flexibly when required.

Casual / Ad Hoc

Our client operates a high-specification logistics and distribution facility located within the Alpha Freight Area of Glasgow Prestwick Airport. As part of the warehouse team, you will play a key role in ensuring freight and cargo are handled safely, securely, and efficiently to support airport operations.

• Provide excellent customer service across warehouse operations.
• Receive, unload, and process imported freight from aircraft safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload freight trailers (Yorkies) using dock systems.
• Carry out visual inspections for damage or signs of tampering and report any concerns.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Comply with all airport, airline, and security procedures.
• Complete all required training, including manual handling and security-related training.
• Support Health & Safety initiatives and incident investigations when required.
• Operate in accordance with airport and aerodrome safety procedures.

• Reliable and flexible individuals who can work at short notice.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial but not essential.
