About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to help maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping facilities well maintained and enjoys a varied, hands-on position.
Experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck is highly desirable, as the successful candidate will be required to move baled cardboard and support general site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining warehouse and site cleanliness to a high standard
- Operating an industrial sweeper across the site
- Moving baled cardboard using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Managing waste streams and controlling site bins
- Supporting housekeeping and recycling activities
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck experience desirableĀ
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
