Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 pro rata
Working Pattern: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the office)
Contract: 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Controller to join a well-established and growing organisation within a busy Supply Chain function.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain coordination who enjoys working closely with third-party logistics providers, managing operational performance, and driving process improvements.
You'll play a key role in ensuring warehouse operations run efficiently, inventory is accurately managed, and internal stakeholders receive the information and support they need to keep the business moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with third-party logistics providers (3PLs)
- Act as the main point of contact for warehouse operations across the business
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and implement corrective actions
- Review inbound and outbound warehouse forecasts
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse performance
- Ensure accurate data management within SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Generate and distribute operational reports and KPI information
- Support inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation activities
- Monitor outbound deliveries and transport performance
- Maintain export documentation and shipping records
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Support continuous improvement projects and wider Supply Chain initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 3 years' experience in a warehouse, logistics, inventory, or supply chain position
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs)
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure
- FMCG industry experience
- Experience across broader Supply Chain functions
- Knowledge of production planning systems such as OMP
