Holt Engineering are urgently recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operatives to join a busy and growing warehouse and manufacturing environment in Poole.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FLT Driver looking for immediate work with a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position.

🚜 The Role as a Counterbalance Forklift Operative, you will be responsible for the safe movement of goods and materials across the warehouse and production areas.
Your duties will include:
- Operating a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving stock and materials around the warehouse and production areas
- Carrying out goods-in and goods-out duties
- Checking incoming and outgoing goods for damage and accuracy
- Booking stock in and out using warehouse systems
- Moving pallets and materials to allocated storage locations
- Picking and preparing stock for dispatch
- Loading vehicles and ensuring goods are secured correctly
- Supporting stock checks and maintaining accurate stock records
- Working closely with warehouse and production teams
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting with general warehouse duties when required
- Accredited Counterbalance FLT licence
- Full UK driving licence
- Recent and confident forklift operating experience
- Previous warehouse, logistics or manufacturing experience
- Experience with goods-in and goods-out
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexi/Reach/Pivot steer FLT licence
- Experience using warehouse management or stock control systems
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
