We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Loaders / Unloaders to join our team. The role involves loading and unloading furniture and flat-pack products, as well as carrying out a variety of general warehouse duties.

Job Details

Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 06:00–14:30 8h paid/ 30 min break unpaid
Pay Rate: £13.31 per hour

Key Duties

• Loading and unloading sofas, chairs and other furniture products.
• Manually moving and handling flat-pack furniture weighing approximately 40–70 kg.
• Picking furniture and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Checking, sorting and accurately labelling products.
• Moving stock around the warehouse and ensuring goods are stored safely.
• Preparing sofas, chairs and other furniture for delivery.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Following all health and safety and manual handling procedures.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual handling.
• Able to safely lift and move furniture, using appropriate team lifting or mechanical assistance where required.
• Good attention to detail when picking and labelling orders.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The Role

This is a hands-on position focused on the handling, preparation and movement of sofas, chairs and other furniture products. The successful candidate will need to be physically capable, reliable and willing to assist with a variety of warehouse tasks throughout the working day.
