We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Logistics Manager to join a team based in Chandlers Ford. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse and logistics experience who enjoys overseeing day-to-day operations, keeping things running smoothly and ensuring everything is organised and efficient.
The role will initially be temporary, with the potential for a permanent position for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of warehouse and logistics operations.
- Coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries to ensure everything runs efficiently.
- Managing stock control and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Organising warehouse activities and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Supporting and coordinating warehouse staff to ensure tasks are completed effectively.
- Ensuring the warehouse remains organised, safe and compliant with health and safety procedures.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
- Liaising with suppliers, couriers and internal teams to resolve any logistical issues.
- Must have management experience.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- A practical, hands-on approach to managing day-to-day operations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with different teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- A forklift licence or previous forklift experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
