Salary: £38,110 per annum
Hours: 48 hours per week
Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 21:00 – 06:00
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Night Shift Manager to take responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operation throughout the night.
This is a varied and fast-paced role, requiring someone who can confidently manage warehouse staff, maintain high operational standards and support the wider business when required.
The Role
As Warehouse Night Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the night-time warehouse operation and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently, safely and to the required standards.
The role will involve:
- Managing and supporting warehouse staff throughout the night shift.
- Coordinating day-to-day warehouse activities and ensuring operational targets are achieved.
- Supporting the Transport Department where necessary throughout the night.
- Monitoring workflow and ensuring priorities are managed effectively.
- Maintaining accurate records and using IT systems to support the operation.
- Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure a smooth overnight operation.
- Dealing with a varied range of tasks and responding positively to changing operational requirements.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or transport environment.
- Proven experience of managing warehouse staff.
- Strong IT skills with a high level of competence in Microsoft Excel.
- SAP experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently, make decisions and manage priorities.
- A flexible, hands-on approach to a varied night-time operation.
- The ability to remain calm and effective in a busy working environment.
Shift & Training
The contracted hours are 48 hours per week, working Sunday to Thursday, 21:00 – 06:00.
Please note that there will be an induction and training period before the permanent shift pattern is fully established. Candidates must therefore be flexible and willing to work alternative shift patterns during this initial training and induction period.
Salary
£38,110 per annum – non-negotiable.
