Warehouse Operative

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in double glazing, window manufacturing, glazing, or a similar production environment, who is looking for a stable, long-term position with the opportunity to become permanent.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, physically fit, and confident working accurately in a fast-paced factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of double-glazed windows and frames
• Measuring materials accurately using a tape measure
• Operating machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products
• Following production schedules, drawings, and work instructions
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
• Supporting other areas of the factory when required

Requirements

• Confident using a tape measure and working with precise measurements — essential
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy factory environment
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
