Warehouse Operative MHE Upskilling - Bury St Edmunds - £14.44 to £15.33 per hour - IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE

We are recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operative roles for our client based in the Bury St Edmunds area.  Our client are a leading international logistics partner, specialising in supply chain solutions for a variety of brands  

Hours of Work & Pay Rates

• Rotating every 2 weeks: 8am-4pm & 4pm-12am
• You will start on the Warehouse Operative rate of: £ 14.44 per hour
• Once Upskilled Pay Rates increase to £15.33
• Overtime rates available  

Requirements of a Warehouse Operative MHE Upskilling

• Experience working in a warehouse environment
• Ability to work at height for long periods of time - 18m high
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Good and effective communication skills

Role of a Warehouse Operative MHE Upskilling

• Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners
• Securely pack & palletise items ready for dispatch to customers
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles manually
• General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment
• All work undergone is physically demanding due to the nature of the environment
• Securely operate FLT (hilop, mlop, ppt) equipment and adhere to strict health and safety rules on site
• Moving palletised goods around the warehouse to the correct locations
• Support with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Perform daily safety checks on equipment before usage
