A successful and well-established e-commerce business selling sports, fitness, healthcare safety and pet products is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team in Clapham, London.

The role is fully warehouse and stockroom based in Clapham, Central London.

What the Role Will Involve
As a Warehouse Operative you will have a number of key duties including picking, packing, replenishment, and stock counting. You will be expected to work accurately and efficiently, taking pride in your work, with a willingness to assist other members of the team.

Your duties will include:
  • Daily picking and packing of customer orders
  • Working to targets to pack products quickly and efficiently
  • Dispatching larger items by courier using online courier booking systems
  • Daily re-stocking/replenishment of stock in the warehouse
  • Replenishing stock in the correct warehouse locations
  • Updating stock locations on the internal database
  • Stock counting
  • Monitoring low stock levels and relaying information to the purchasing department
  • Ensuring stock is stored safely and correctly
  • Checking for damaged or faulty products
  • Identifying and reporting incorrect and faulty products
  • Ensuring the warehouse is tidy, organised, and safe at all times
  • Further ad hoc responsibilities.
The ideal Warehouse Operative will hold the following skills and experiences:
  • Self-motivated to work quickly and efficiently
  • Great eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work at speed
  • Pride in keeping areas tidy and organised
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English
The working hours of this role are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm (37.5 paid working hours per week). In return you will receive a salary of £28,860.00 per annum (£14.80 per hour).
