Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver to join meat-free production site producing authentic Mexican tortillas, salsas, and related products

As a Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver, you will be supporting day-to-day warehouse activities while completing safe, timely deliveries to customers and other locations.

This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of £25,500 - £28,000 and benefits.

You will be responsible for

• Loading the delivery vehicle and ensuring orders are ready for dispatch.
• Receiving, checking, storing and rotating incoming stock.
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately.
• Updating stock records and carrying out inventory checks usingCin7 (training provided).
• Preparing product samples and arranging collections and deliveries via DHL
• Loading and unloading vehicles and completing required delivery paperwork.
• Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements.
• Using warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks and forklifts where required.

The candidates from the following background will be considered:

• Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Warehouse Operator, Delivery Driver, Van Driver, Driver, Warehouse Technician, Warehouse Picker, Warehouse Packer or in a similar role.

What we are looking for:

Essential:

• A full UK driving licence.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Confidence using smartphones for route and delivery applications.
• Basic computer skills, including email, data entry and stock management systems.

Desirable:

• Previous warehouse and delivery experience.
• A forklift licence, although training will be provided.

Shift:

• Monday to Friday, 5:30am - 2:00pm
