Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver in Aylesbury

We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Aylesbury, for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join their busy, friendly, successful operation.

The role offers a balance of multi-drop deliveries and warehouse work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied position. You'll be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and professional manner while assisting with stock handling, order preparation and general warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities

Driving Duties:

• Deliver products to customers using a Sprinter van or Long Wheelbase van.
• Complete local and regional deliveries efficiently and professionally. (No Central London driving required)
• Obtain proof of delivery where required.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently and communicate any issues or delays promptly.

Warehouse Duties

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload incoming deliveries.
• Move stock safely within the warehouse.
• Conduct stock checks and assist with inventory control.
• Receive, inspect and book goods into the warehouse.

Candidate Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Previous van driving experience preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous.
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling duties.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
