Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver - Night Shift

Location: Gateshead, NE11
Pay: £13.36 per hour
Hours: Sun-Thurs 10pm - 6am | 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (after 12 weeks)
Start Date: Immediate starts available

We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join their busy warehouse team in Gateshead.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established company after a successful 12-week temporary period.

The Role

Your duties will include:

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Picking and preparing customer orders
  • Palletising goods ready for dispatch
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Manual handling of products within the warehouse
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

What We're Looking For

  • A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (CB FLT) licence is essential
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Good attention to detail
  • Reliable with a positive attitude
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
