An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join a growing specialist coffee business based in Acton. This is a hands-on role offering a varied workload within a busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the warehouse
- Receiving, organising and storing stock efficiently
- Picking, packing and dispatching orders
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift for loading and unloading deliveries
- Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Preparing coffee samples and assisting with packing duties
- Supporting order fulfilment and basic customer service enquiries
- Assisting with warehouse housekeeping and maintaining a safe working environment
- Providing general support to the wider sales and logistics team
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Basic IT skills, including email and spreadsheets
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work
- Ability to work in a physical role involving manual handling
- Experience in packing and dispatch operations
- Customer service experience
- Interest in coffee, food production or hospitality
- Experience with stock control and inventory management
- Part-time hours with a great work-life balance
