Location: Team Valley, Gateshead
Job Type: Temporary (Ongoing)

Pay Rates

Day Shift: £12.96 per hour

Late Shift: £13.87 per hour

Night Shift: £14.77 per hour

Shift Pattern (Days/Nights/Lates)

Days - Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm

Nights - Sunday – Thursday 11pm – 7:10am

Lates - Monday– Friday 3pm - 11:10pm

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled carefully and accurately.
• Move raw materials, finished products and stock throughout the warehouse or production areas.
• Pick, stack and store goods in designated locations while maintaining stock accuracy.
• Assist with goods-in and goods-out activities, including checking deliveries against paperwork.
• Complete warehouse documentation and stock records accurately.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling practices and the use of appropriate PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• General warehouse and production duties

What We're Looking For

• Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance), with previous driving experience preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics or manufacturing experience is desirable.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible, with the ability to work a rotating 3-shift pattern where required.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling tasks, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
