Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse team. This is a hands-on role offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Monday to Friday -07:30am – 4:30pm

 Pay: £15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, unloading and checking deliveries against paperwork.
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
• Organising stock and ensuring items are stored in the correct locations.
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Operating warehouse equipment, including Counterbalance and Reach Forklifts where required.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse, logistics, removals or stock control experience desirable.
• Counterbalance and Reach Forklift experience.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties and work on your feet throughout the day.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
