Location: Royston, Hertfordshire
Salary: £12.90 per hour
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: Weekly pay
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday 8:00am–4:00pm

About the Role

My client is looking for a reliable Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join their team in Royston on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience and a counterbalance forklift licence who is looking for a long-term position with a well-established company.

The successful candidate will be working within a busy warehouse environment, supporting the day-to-day movement of goods and general warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
  • Operating a counterbalance forklift to move materials and stock around the warehouse.
  • Picking and preparing goods for dispatch.
  • Receiving and checking incoming deliveries.
  • Moving and storing stock safely within the warehouse.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
  • Following all company health and safety procedures.
  • Working as part of a team to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly.
Requirements
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Valid counterbalance forklift licence required.
  • Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

1hr unpaid Lunch
