Warehouse Operative

Location: SK15
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: On Going
Pay: £12.71 per hour, paid weekly.
Breaks: 30 minutes – paid.

We are currently recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operatives to support a busy manufacturing operation in the SK15 area.

This is a hands-on role involving manual handling, feeding machinery and general warehouse hygiene / housekeeping. Full training will be provided.

The Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Manually feeding a corrugator with 25kg bags of starch mix, approximately 1 bag per hour.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards around the work area
• Carrying out general cleaning and hygiene duties between feeding tasks
• Supporting the operators and wider production team as required
• Following all health & safety procedures and wearing the required PPE

Shift Options

We are looking for experiences warehouse operatives to cover:

• 06:00am – 14:00pm
  OR
• 14:00pm – 21:00pm

Candidates can either work fixed shifts or rotate between the two shifts.

Fixed shifts: £12.71 per hour
Rotating shifts: £15.25 per hour

Requirements

• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting 25kg bags
• Physically fit and able to carry out regular lifting throughout the shift
• Reliable and punctual
• Good attitude towards health, safety and hygiene
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience.

PPE

Safety boots and hi-vis vest are required.
- All other necessary PPE will be provided by the company.
