Warehouse Operative

Shepshed | £12.71 per hour | Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:00pm

Our client, based in Shepshed, is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and is looking to work as part of a friendly and supportive warehouse team.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping to ensure goods are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

You will work as part of a team to help maintain a safe, tidy and organised warehouse environment.

• Receive and check incoming goods.
• Pick and pack orders accurately.
• Prepare goods for dispatch.
• Load and unload deliveries safely.
• Move stock around the warehouse as required.
• Assist with stock checks and inventory counts.
• Ensure stock is stored correctly.
• Maintain good standards of warehouse housekeeping.
• Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines.
• Use PPE and warehouse equipment correctly.
• Report any damaged goods, stock issues or safety concerns.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Carry out any other general warehouse duties as required.

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• A reliable and hardworking approach.
• Good attention to detail.
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good timekeeping and attendance.
• The ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
• A commitment to working safely.
• A forklift licence would be desirable but is not essential.

Success in the role will include:

• Accurate picking and packing.
• Supporting smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Maintaining stock accuracy.
• Meeting daily workloads and deadlines.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards.
• Following health & safety procedures.
• Working positively and effectively as part of the warehouse team.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:00pm
Location: Shepshed
