We're currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking for long-term, stable employment with regular weekday hours.
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be involved in a variety of warehouse duties, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys a varied and fast-paced working environment to become an integral member of our clients team.
Key Responsibilities- Picking and packing customer orders accurately
- Booking in deliveries and checking goods received
- Preparing orders for dispatch (Goods Out)
- Conducting stock takes and maintaining stock accuracy
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Labelling and organising stock within the warehouse
- Performing quality checks on products
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting colleagues across different warehouse departments as required
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
- Experience with picking, packing, stock control, goods in or goods out is advantageous
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills
- £12.76 per hour
- Monday to Friday working hours
- No weekend work
