Warehouse Operative (Hoard-it)

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm | Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful and innovative business for a Warehouse Operative to join their team.

Our client specialises in providing sustainable, reusable site hoarding solutions to the construction sector, offering a complete service including design, logistics and installation. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to support their warehouse and yard operations.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring materials are safely received, stored and dispatched efficiently.

The role will involve loading and unloading deliveries, operating a forklift truck, preparing customer orders and supporting the wider operation during busy periods.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a practical environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, organisation and efficiency.

• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.

• Operating a forklift truck to move materials around the site.

• Checking delivery paperwork and ensuring accuracy of goods received and dispatched.

• Picking and preparing products for internal and external orders.

• Maintaining an organised warehouse and yard environment.

• Supporting other departments when required, including painting and picking teams.

• Following all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous forklift truck operating experience.

• Valid FLT training/certification.

• Experience working within a warehouse, yard, manufacturing or similar environment.

• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow processes.

• A strong work ethic and reliable approach.

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
